Given that there are over 7000 registered members (ok .. not so many regular posters I know) .. and we are all nice and friendly and generous....
Are there going to be 7000 + threads saying "Happy Christmas" !!! or should they all be amalgamted into one thread were we can all wish all OOF'ers the "compliments of the season" ???
Tin hat in position and "mess canon" loaded for the riposte ... :)

No need for the cannon, was thinking exactly the same myself earlier whilst pondering the great wide world....
If I remember, will comine all the seasons greetings etc threads into one in the morning. Fingers not working the best, this late in the evening!! ;D

Fingers best used for pouring a wee dram at this time of night .. may I recommend a Tormor or Tamdu ??? Relatively light but tasteful, or perhaps a Bowmore or Lagavulin ??? Slightly stronger flavoured but just as enjoyable .. :)
BTW .. you deserve a few after tonights efforts !!! :y :y :y

Tonight, Matthew, I will be almost finished a bottle of Old Pulteney, the most northerly mainland malt....
And rather nice on the palette it is too..... ;D

Obviously still able to type as you've started moving stuff around... :)
I take it from your last note that you think Lagavulin a tad strong ???
Have you tried Loch Dhu ... "The Black Whisky" ... now that is "strong" its like chewing a lump of anthracite !!!

Quite enjoy Lagavulin, just had a wee laugh to myself at you saying its 'Slightly stronger flavoured but just as enjoyable '.
Yeah... Right!! ;D
