ive a good idea....lets get out ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
oh dear :o :o :o
-
Its the 'lets get out' idea and doing it once the car is going backwards!
The question is....what finaly stopped it!
-
The accompanying info from youtube:
This couple were warned by neighbours not to venture out that day and they were the only people to attempt to drive on that road. There were numerous pedestrians around who could barely walk on the black ice so a car really stood no chance.
Near the start of the video you can see a recovery truck. This had been stuck there, blocking the road for 3 hours and didn't move for another 2 hours after this incident.
Thankfully, no pedestrians or children were hit by the shamelessly abandoned car.
PLEASE, check your local roads before setting out on a journey. Listen to local radio, speak to neighbours and try to avoid being part of incidents like this.

Yep, would certainly figure in the top ten :( :(
The disturbing thing of course is that these droogs have as much right to use the public roads as anyone - Christ help us!

would love to know that as well :o :o
-
no doubt the owner thought having the rear window wipe on would create enough wind resistance to slow the car down ;D
-
All the idiot had to do was come off the brakes
-
I think the driver was an insult to the word TOOL
-
Oooops ;D ;D

i'm starting to think that people should be made to pass an IQ test before being allowed to apply fora driving license..
i'd say the size and power of car you're allowed to own should depend on your score ;-)
Omega's , and other luxury yachts should require 150 or over....
minimum score of 120 to even own a car.
that should reduce the oppswittery a little...
anyone scoring over 170 would also be banned.... simply because they're usually to ditzy... contemplating unified field theory tends to distract from the business of controlling a moving vehicle.
(162 here, so I get to drive all those football players motors they can;t touch any more ;-) )

Its rather icy out here today. Just been down the PO, even the high street is still snow/ice covered. Did see a gritter though, guess thats the only one.

Yeah, that'd do it.
Driver was rather lucky that his car didn't decide to use him as a supplementary bumper. ::)

-
what a plonker .certainly downhill for them? ::) ::) ::) :y
-
Just... WHY?
What benefit was there of jumping out of the car? I dont know exactly where this happened, but unless there is a cliff face at the bottom of that road, surely your chances of getting hurt are much less if you stay inside of the 800KG of metal surrounding you?
As said earlier in this thread.... releasing the brake *may* have made for a better chance.
