I wonder if the license fee will go down.  I can certainly manage without him although he has said some funny things way back.

Jumped before he was pushed imo, even to his fans he was becoming stale/repetitive and if the beeb did continue to employ him they certainly wouldnt have paid him £6 million per year.
I would say good riddance but we dont know which cretin they will foist on us instead of him.Alan Carr,Graham Norton ?????

good riddance. Overpaid yob. Plenty of people could do the job for a fraction of his dosh. A minority programme like Countdown managed fine without its overpaid "talent".

If you have seen television in the USA recently you will consider that every penny of the British TV licence fee money well spent to give us the likes of the BBC! ;D ;D ;) ;)

Thank God for British tv, with or without JR!! ;D ;D ;D ;D 8-) 8-)

It's going down the pan quite fast though.  Just in the 'searching for it' phase at present. :'(

i'd rather watch his drivel that the usual crap on the beeb, just as knobenders - which itself fills every advert slot on the beeb.

We should not pay licence, and beeb should be disbanded.

Didnt sound like he was likely to get pushed, he still has 6 months of contract to go, and was said they had offered him more to stay.

I quite like him, don't like the proposed replacement though >:( And it isn't because he is gay, it is because he is irritating.

All girls like men who can make them laugh, and maybe he has more hidden 'talents'  ;)

They do transmit some decent programmes (outnumbered for xample) but they are made by outside prodoction companies who will always try the beeb before taking them to commercial stations, probably because the beeb has a virtually blank chequebook whereas in the real world of commercial TV they have real world budgets.
The beeb can simply ask Gormless to put the licence fee up,and as lon as they remain the Nu Liebore mouthpiece they will more or less get what they want. ;)

Wow - I thought I was the only one who'd seen it.   :) :) :)

It may well be my favourite TV show ever, replacing The Sopranos.  You wouldn't think anyone could squeeze that much black humour out of drug dealing and lung cancer :) :) :)
