Title: Cam cover gaskets - done
Post by: TheBoy on 25 March 2007, 18:09:59
Right, finished at last :)

Took me more that "2hrs to do both sides" Mr DTM!  And I only did one side, albeit the passenger one.

Seems to have stopped leaking :). Changed the plugs, and gave the throttle body up whilst I was at it. Have to try another 0 - 60 now ;).

Flushed with success, though I would change the PAS belt on the Rover, but failed, as the effing idiots sold me the wrong belt  >:( - going by the part numbers, I reckon new one is 5mm shorter.

Don't you just love Marks estimates of time to do a job!  ;D

He forgets we are mortal and NOT engineers....  ;)

And, I forgot, but I should thank Marks_DTM for advice - I had to give him yet another 'emergency call' part way through. :y
