Bosch WFF2001
Wednesday i put it on a 40C wash.
It did the main wash, then stopped at the rinses stage.
(It uses the hot water feed for the main wash and cold water feed for the rinses)
This morning, I tried it again, it nearly did the main wash, but now it was not emptying, so wasnt getting as far as the rinses stage.
Its fixed now, but any ideas what was wrong with it?
I was nearly at the stage of going out and buying a new machine....then i discovered what was up with it :o :o

Almost certainly your control unit is on the fritz. You can actually repair these yourself. However, it is good practice to clear the drain feed as well, just to make sure that there is no detritus caught in there (It will be very smelly)

Got/had a frozen pipe TD?
Or was the cold water supply just to cold for it!

Fixed a problem on my son's a couple of yeas ago which was blocked waste pipe. In his case he had fitted new waste and not taken out the plastic inner cover. In your case was waste outlet frozen?
Also happens to water softeners when recharging in freezing qweather like now - put boling water on waste pipe - you will be surprised at blockage even though it is discharging salt water.

Spot on Mark :y
At the back of the machine, there is an air vent in the outside wall, for the boiler in the kitchen.
The cold water pipe going to the machine had frozen....and this morning the water at the bottom of the U in the waste pipe had frozen as well.....hence why it wouldnt empty.

Christ, is your boiler that old?
Better take them up on the boiler scrappage scheme then!

When i moved here, the boiler was about 15years old...I had it serviced and can remember the blokey that did it...saying...never get these boilers going wrong....well he was right.....15 years later and its still working and hasnt gone wrong ;D
