Gotta go and dig the car out again soon as the neighbour managed to go into work today, to sit around doing nothing as it's unsafe to work, and the snow is over the bottom of the bumper, even after I was out yesterday!

My concern is that I may not get home... It's easy to get out but we're forecast "significant" snowfall between now and Monday morning :o :o

May just take it as holiday :-/ :-/ Although they did pay me for yesterday :y :y

Had some earlier, quite big flakes.  Nothing at the moment, but there's more to come.

Had about an inch overnight, currently have about 3 or 4 inches of the stuff on the roofs etc so not that bad, although the road outside our house which is a gentle incline is pretty slippery.
Im back to work for a couple of nightshifts tonight,if it does happen to chuck loads of it down overnight I may just stay at work until monday morning.

On and off round here - couple of cms (8/10 inch for those among us who are metrically and decimally differently abled) overnight.

Should be doing my volunteer work in a charity shop, but the manager rang up and said it had taken her two hours to get in and Ipswich was deserted anyway, so she wasn't going to open up today.

Here's an amusing quote from an e-mail from my brother in Edinburgh:

I had lunch with a pal yesterday whose wife and daughter had both fallen in the snow and suffered broken bones.  When the daughter was taken to the fracture clinic to be plastered up she was number 132 in the queue.

Snowing heavily here now. :( I hate it.I have a list of jobs to do to the Mig so I can flog it,I want to crawl all over its replacement with a fine tooth comb, as you do when you first buy a car, and I havent ridden my bike for god knows how long, and that is producing cold turkey like symptoms  ::) :'(

Garage is full of junk  :-[

That said, it tends to live out - frequently working from home, its not uncommon for me to have a 'light-up'

I'll post some pictures tomorrow (or later if I don't get into work!) of the cat in the back garden... She disappeared at one point :o :o ;D ;D

3 rather hours to clear the car and dig it out but not sure I'll be able to get down the road... Snow was over the bottom of the front bumper :o :o :o

Oh... And to top it off we're forecast up to another foot before monday morning :o :o :o
