I posted a letter to Orlando Florida on the 9th January, I posted it using the Royal Mail Airsure Service, was told in the post office it will be there within 4 days, it is now the 20th January, and still not arrived. I tracked it and all I am getting is the following
Inbound International ISC NEW YORK NY(USPS) 01/11/10 10:29am
Tells me that the letter arrived in New York on the 11th January. Now they cannot find it. It is annoying because it contained a cheque for $17k, and I want that money to pay Mr Wyatt.
There are no numbers I can call to trace it.
Damn Annoying, especially if some bas**** nicked it.

Would suggest you contact the cheque issueing bank immediatly, and explain you believe the cheque to have been stolen. That way you don't get charged for it.
HTH

lol, Not that simple!! The cheque was issued by the IRS in USA, as a tax refund, and I got another on the way as well for over £23k. I am getting worried right now.

Am confused, you started by complaining of post you sent, but finnish by complaining about post you are recieving. :'(

Let me explain. I was/am owed $40k dollars or more by the IRS. My bank (Principality) will not take cheques unless they are in £ Sterling , so I sent the cheque to my accountant in Orlando and she was going to bank it for me and deposit the $$$ into my account which will appear as Sterling. but the damn cheque has not arrived there, and I am getting another cheque at the end of this month for the remainder from the IRS.

Hope it gets sorted swiftly. Sometimes these services are pathetic.

Sadly, no comfort to offer....... :'(
I sent two packages 'Airsure' (mailed on different days) to addresses in the U.S before Christmas; neither have arrived yet. >:(
The U.S postal service would seem to have a major theft/loss problem. :o

Makes me wonder if stuff is actually leaving this country at times, or maybe part of cut backs and them waiting till they have full packing containers to send and stuff going missing whilst delayed. :-/

I used the Airsure service to post a managed switch back to Cisco in the Netherlands last Wednesday.
It landed with Cisco on Friday 15th, and the replacement was back with me yesterday (19th) - although it was shipped back using UPS.

My accountant has just sent me an e-mail informing me that she received the check (her words not mine) and banked it yesterday. Thank the Lord for small mercies.
I can now smell a nice 52 Plate MV6 comming down the M4 as we speak.
Mr Wyatt are you listening?

Seems like the good old RM/PO are doing their job, it's when the Yanks get it the problems have started. ::)
Mick ;)

Glad to hear that ones sorted. :y USPS is a bit dodgy, probably best to stick to UPS, much easier to track.

America & England divided by a common language! ;) ;)
