Title: Roadable Aircraft anyone???

Stumbled upon this (http://www.terrafugia.com/aircraft.html) from an email I was sent and it got me thinking... How fantastic would it be :y :y

I think any repairs due to a collision on the roads would be pricey.

TBH, if you read the site in full it's designed as an aircraft which can be driven on the road, not a car which can fly :y

I think it's a cracking idea but fugly :-?

Would be quite a thing to witness I reckon

I reckon you're right Debs... Although it does say that it's been "Test Flown" in front of the FAA successfully :y :y
