Whats the best way (affordable) to get from Heathrow to Reading? Do I have to go into Paddington on the Picadilly line and then get a slow train out?
Not a fan of the Picadilliy line but appreciate might not have much choice.

Take the Railair bus to Woking and then the train to Reading. Not cheap but certainly a lot quicker
-
straight on to the rail air bus to Reading. Been a while now but it was about £11 last time I done it, stops at Reading station.

140 bus takes about 10 mins, and run every 15 mins, loads of trains run through Hayes :)

According to the site: RailAir for £90 for one month, thats very reasonable! I have been looking at houses to buy in reading with some mates, could make my commute very cheap!

It's not cost effective for the missus as she would only use it max 5 times a month.

National Express stops at the Sainsburys at M4 junction 12 (I think its the Heathrow-Swansea route). Out of town a bit but reasonable money as I recall.
