Versus the 3,000 I'll have spent by the end of the first year with my miggy?  :-? :)

There will be things to do on that car too I'm sure, but it's still not worlds different.

Did you buy the correct one in the first place........plus will this one require 3000 also taking the total to 6000......

As Mark says, a bit pricey, BUT, if you were considering trading your omega, then you may be able to squeeze his wotsits a bit ;)

Very nice car, starting to looka bit dated though :-/

I didn't get a storming deal on my miggy, but didn't pay way over the odds either.  I figure that the S6 would be 50% more, not 100% more.  However, I'm already spending a fair but of money on a relatively nice but still somewhat frustrating car.  I guess that's what comes with trying to reach too high on the cheap.  I expect the S6 would be less frustrating, but not perfect.  Let's be honest, even new cars are frustrating - all the more so because they cost so much and are still in most cases seriously flawed!

Yeah, the S6 is a little dated.  Oh well, I don't like the facelift Omega so it doesn't bother me too much.

I've never driven an S6, but would imagine it would have to have pretty stiff suspension, so back to square one with your partner? :-/

Actually in that era Audis were really soft in general.  Looks like it is on stilts too, so probably more an issue of being too soft.

It doesn't have a sunroof so I might make some progress on the headroom issue, but they still aren't great.

She's not gonna let me get rid of the miggy yet anyway, bought it 7 months ago to do weekend trips and this weekend will be our first because the weather was nasty by the time the cambelt was done.  She said I have to keep it to September so that we can do some trips this year.

Anyhow, while we're on the subject of audis, fancy one of these?

Well, yeah, but like everything else these days it isn't worth the money even if I had it.

Not quite everything. I must admit, when I walk outside and see my omega parked there, I smile, I actually smile. Thats what I call money well spent. What else could I get (car wise ;)) for £2750 that would still bring a big smile to my face after owning it for 12months. :) I love it

I'm told it is the memory seats, they stick up higher.  Also I have to sit up straighter than most or my back isn't happy.
