Got the above email today.....does anyone actually fall for this rubbish! ;D
Two big points to note about this email....
PayPal will always address you by name if they email you.
PayPal can spell ;)
Oh and what i havent shown is the email came from accounts@paypall.com ..... ::)

Unfortunately people do fall for it :'( :'( :'(
Hope you forwarded it on to paypal's fraud department?

If they send out 10m msgs, and 0.01% of people are stupid (and in the current UK, that figure is surely much nearer 50%), thats still 1000 compromised Paypal accounts ;)
-
Forward it to spoof@paypal.com. I used to get dozens of these when I used fleeceBay.
-
Sad but true, the world is full of stupidly gullible but otherwise normal people! :(
-
My account was compromised without my help, and it was PayPal that contacted me to contact them so they could tell me someone in Thailand had tried to use my eBay/PayPal accounts ;).

No they won't. It loses them auction fees and that's all they care about. I also had similar problems with PooPal that's why I shut my account down and stopped selling on fleeceBay. They just don't care about their customers anymore as long as they get their (extortionate) fees. >:(
