Pictures in the top bar gone, coloured "buttons" now plain, "smileys" very very slow to load  ??

The slowdown is unrelated to problem with images server, they are 2 unrelated issues.

The speed issue is (not was!) an unrelated problem. Not overly concerned about that currently.

Images server, well, yes, excactly. Errr. Uhmmm.

Expect to lose Maint Guides any time soon for a while.
