Ah.. well let's hope it comes down for next year :y ::), best no drink, cos you'll end up short to pay the insurance ::)
-
Crikey, thats a bit steep. Where was that from? I'm getting quotes on a 3.2 Omega around £700 fully comp with 3 years no claims. My 2.6 was about £800 last year
-
Contact Footman James Insurance :y
-
Surely thats a misprint. i got quoted on my Omega with various companies and the dearest i was asking to pay was near £700. Thats with me being 30 and having only 3 years NCB. Though driving for over 15 years
-
Ridiculous amount!
Shop around for a 'normal' quote, for me that is £428 with RSA through the AA for my 3.0 fully comprehensive with windscreen cover. ;) ;)
-
got it down to 800 through aa up to now the origial quote was through express insurance
-
Well I paid fully comp, including business use 901 last year, bearing in mind all extras are insured, eg irmscher bits, rims, suspension, stereo, one whole side of the car was keyed last year, all paid for by insurance, no doubt mine may go up this year, let's wait and see, 10 yrs no claims and protected, only in the last year ::)
-
If mine ever goes above £250 pa I will start riding the wifes pushbike. :)

I take it the quote was for your second year with that company. They hook you in the first year and whack it up after that. That's why you should never have a 'rolling' direct debit. Once they have taken the first instalment, you are knackered.
-
i am very happy so happy i took the policy out with them thats me sorted for another year tax at end of april mot in aug
i got stung before for staying with the same company first and last time i did that never again
