Title: Gloucestershire Pubs
Post by: Martin_1962 on 24 March 2010, 21:02:50
Well it seems we now have a fefw Glos and South Wales members.

So I expect they know about the pubs.

Who wants to chat about them?

Me and some friends used to test them about 18 to 22 years ago.

The George on the A38 at Cambridge ........

They had a great little touring park behind, and we stayed there a few times.
'Twas a good base for the Lister-Tyndale show at nearby North Nibley.

I went to the Red Hart at Blaisdon when it was still ran by the same family for years before sell off.

I went to the great going down bash before it got ruined.

We also used to like the Junction at Grange Court.

Will try to remember a few more.

Got a brilliant story about Glasshouse

Red Hart..........seem to remember its invaded by about 500 bikers once a month on a weds night. must go one of these days, reckon that would be a spectacle to see, 500 bikes parked in that little car park and all along the road!
