Didn't think that happened until midnight tonight :-/ :-/
Got it on in the background

Both unleaded and diesel are around £1.20 per litre in these parts already!
>:(
-
Was £1.16 there monday LZ, suprised we didn't see you there, we were there about that time.
-
Seeing this coming I filled the Elite up yesterday and used up the Clubcard vouchers.

£250k to fist time buyers only, so you have another £20,000 to look forward to losing using on your first home

it's only a 3p rise and that's phased in from April through to January so where they get a 5p increase now beats me ::)
-
Just come from my local Tesco's, and they are putting it up to £1.19 a litre!!
Bloody disgusting.
"Born free, taxed to death!!"

I pumped £30.`s worth into the 'pup-mobile' at Asda 118.9p/l at 10.45 this morning.....passed 2 hours later; 122.9p/l.
.....blatant profiteering! >:(
I can see a time (quite soon) when I wont be able to run a car at all......it`s standing outside the house most of the week as it is; due purely to the cost of fuel. ('anywhere' from here, seems to be 50+ miles of low-MPG type roads each way)....what between heating-oil and petrol: fuel is now, by-far my biggest monthly outgoing. :'(
-
Any rises in fuel today cannot be blamed on the government. It's more to do with the pound being worth $1.485 and the retailers profiteering.
-
My missus does about 240 miles a week in her 1.6 astra, works out at £30. I'm certainly glad I got rid of my omega and my alfa. Oh,and my ZT, that tinker was giving me about 22mpg.
-
Profiteering should be a 'Capital' Offence! We all know businesses must make a reasonable profit & shareholders expect a reasonable return on their investment, but this is just taking the pith! >:(

This budget is probably pretty meaning less imo. Whoever wins the election it is pretty certain that Darling wont be chancellor afterwards so there is a good chance of another budget soon after the election which could turn this one upside down.
His figures are based on growth presumed to be over 3% p.a. - cloud cuckoo land.
Overall - fiddling while Rome burns springs to mind - Nero Darling. ::)
-
Unleaded was 113.9p at my local ASDA this morning, so a lot of regional variation.

It's about time this country took a leaf out of france's book and call for a national strike protests etc those a-holes in greed land would sit up and listen then or am I just dreaming ::)
still think of those poor soles in the rural parts paying £1.25+ a litre :'(
