Completely LUSH.
I love old cars, when I was a kid, both my grandfathers had garages, my mum's dad was a Vauxhall agent, my dad's dad was a Ford agent. Got to sit in all the "new" cars of the day in the showrooms, like the vauhall viva and VX4-90, the FB victor, and the mk 1 cortina and escort.....
grew up with cars and engines, could't have had a better childhood cos I could tinker with just about anything in bits at that time. Learnt to drive in a FB victor estate, registration 36 PAE, wonder if the reg is still used??
Can this be traced??

My Dad had a Vauxhall Wyvern a bit like the Cresta in the photo 8-)
I learnt to drive in an FB Victor aswell :y
I think the number could be traced, DVLA I'm sure could help. Its worth looking into :y

Nice pics, you did'nt happen to see an old guy with a beard and wearing a semi cowboy hat. And he may have working the main gate.
If you did, then you saw my father. :y :y

That's good, I will let him know he was spotted. He has been going for a number of years, used to take an old Dennis Bus to it, but the drive is becoming a bit much these days. :y

I think when I was very young we had a Rover P? (black, bit like a 4 wheeled bubble car) had a Victor 101 and a VX 4/90 then a Viva HB

Can only think of a Rover P2/3/4 they were big for the day but only small cars in comparison to todays cars.
That Cresta( in the photo ) is only small compared to an Omega but win I was young I thought Cresta was huge.

Excellent. I spent the weekend at Cleethorpes classic show showing my '61 Consul. Love your pics. The "Zephyr" is a Consul but nice all the same. I'd like to swap the reg letters F & D round on the red mini & got probably a little too excited over the maroon MK1 Cortina behind the model T.
Nice one. Looked a cracking meet, Guy. :y 8-) :y 8-)

Smart motors! How do they keep them like that when most cars of that age simply fell apart after eight years of salty roads. ;)
