Title: Great night on the TV tonight, what will you do?
Post by: Varche on 06 May 2010, 13:50:37
How are you planning on spending the evening?

Obviously the likes of Bannjax and Nickbat will have several TV's on at the same time plus live feeds via the Internet so they can keep abreast of the results and developments and exit polls.  What about other OOFers?  ;D ;D ;D

Of course people think I have butlers and batboys to keep me updated on this sort of thing.  Problem is I have yet to see mine, so if you see him could you kindly tell him he has 6 years work to catch up on  ::)

I'll be too busy setting up servers  :y

I assume "Paint dry" would be covered by the "Something Else" option? ::)

I will be mostly playing "Grand Theft Auto, The ballad Of Gay Tony" this evening. I still have to complete the some of the drug missions. To some of you this will be boring.  ::)

If I come down for a cup of tea or something I may just flick the news on for a couple of minutes.

I shall be mostly wandering round a post apocalyptic land killing things with an assault rifle.
So It's an evening of Fallout 3 for me.

I shall be glued to BBC1 for as long as I can keep awake.  I may need a little alcoholic sustenance.

The bit about keeping awake is a bit of a joke.  I'm an insomniac, but the TV tends to send me off to sleep quicker than anything else.

But I want to hear of Gordon's discomfiture at the earliest possible moment.   :) :) :)

Thanks for now including the BBC, but how do I swap my vote from "something else" to the BBC option? :-/ :-/ ::) ::)

I think Jereboam that we have seen this already over the last week, two........or three ( ;D ;D ;D) but if he is genuinely surprised and uncomfortable by the result he is more stupid than even I have given him 'credit' for!! :o :o :o

It's not stupidity - he's delusional.  He thinks that

It's not stupidity - he's delusional.  He thinks that
  • he's God's gift to financial management
  • he's popular
  • he's going to win - I bet he hasn't even started packing

I cannot argue with that!! :y :y :y :D

I voted something else. I don't watch telly much but certainly feel no need to watch the banal election drivel, it's the biggest repeat on telly. They promise to sort the last parties mess only to turn into a clone of the party they beat & add to the mess blaming everyone else. Seen it more times than i care to mention. My life won't change. I'll live in my little house, do my little truck driving job, could'nt care less.
At least Jeremy Vine (Drone) will be like a kid in a sweet shop. He's turned the Jimmy Young show into the politics show, the man's obsessed. Matthew Bannister was a breath of fresh air today. ::)

I'm watching the BBC coverage.  Lot of technical glitches.

But it's very interesting.  I think they'll have to get the SAS to evict Gordon - he's going to hang on to the bitter end - and beyond.
