				Think I have worked it out so time for a final poll, this time you need to vote according to the gearbox type fitted....
Remember, no keys in the ignition and lights on.....where does the lights on warning come from?

				mine's the glovebox...   98/99 Mini facelift 3.0 elite auto estate irrigation device.

				Both mine are autos - one ar35 other ar25, both from glovebox area as you know ;)

				Oooo, just pushed auto-glovebox into the lead.             ;D

				So the next q, why on earth did GM put it in a different place for auto/manual?  SUrely that would mean a different loom  :-/

				listened carefully to mine tonight - a 52 plate 3.2 auto elite estate ... and whilst on initial check it appeared to come from the light switch area, in fact it comes from the fuse board - or one of the relays next to it - or very close to that area. Confirmed by opening the fuse box door - the chime then got noticeably louder ...

2002/2003, keys in buzzer (not lights on buzzer) is the bottom left relay in relay box next to fusebox iirc...

				Mine is an Auto and coming from the glovebox.  Voted as such ;)

2002/2003, keys in buzzer (not lights on buzzer) is the bottom left relay in relay box next to fusebox iirc...
... was definitely the lights-on buzzer as the keys for the padlocks on the lock-up are on the same keyring as car key and were being used to open the locks at the time  :)

Yep. My 2002 model has the sounder in the relay box too and it does both the keys in and lights on sounds.
