Title: National BP day holiday in the USA?
Post by: Varche on 13 July 2010, 10:19:27
Now that it looks as though BP has finally capped the leaking well, will Obama declare the day to be marked in perpetuity as a holiday? BP Day?

People could celebrate by filling their cars up with cheap petrol and going out for a drive for the day! ;D

I'll subscribe to that V. :y

Of course our cousins really need that cheap gas as they're forced to drive those impressively large cars invariably seen there.

Another great example of how this special relationship works in practical terms.

Respect to BP 8-) :y :y

Of course Obama and his cohorts continue to "talk down" BP in an attempt to lower its value ??? Interesting it is a US company that is looking to, perhaps, try and take over ??

And what ever happened to the 2 US companies involved, the owners of the rig, and the company contracted to do the safety work ?? Which just happened to be owned by Dick Cheney ?? Very quiet on those fronts Mr Obama..

Perhaps this article gives a more "balanced view" but one which, unfortunately, our US "friends" choose to ignore ..
