Only real modern stuff I am in love with is Florence And The Machine.
The rest IMO is just usual Euro Pap which should be buried in a large hole, topped off with Nuclear waste and capped with a few feet of Lead.
I'm only 28, but give me Floyd, Dire Straits, Eagles, Zappa etc etc anyday. :P :P :P

Mate of mine doesn't listen to anything released after Freddie's death - some people laugh at him, then think about it, then agree proper music died with freddie :(

bit out of touch with current stuff (tho' quite like some of lady gaga and rhianna) ,but have rediscovered 2 oldie favourites in the Beatles "revolver" album and neil young compilation both ofwhich have been playing in the car. Does this prove that Im an old git? :-/ Still, I like them and theyve both got some good guitar parts to learn :y

nothing to do with this thread but just noticed your "hate seagulls" bit-I too live on the coast and fully know where youre coming from. If all that salt air isnt enough how come the bloody gulls always seem to target your pride and joy only when youve just washed/polished it!
