Title: need more bhp

is it advisable to chip up? my omega2.2cdxtdi saloon.i could do with a bit more power to tow caravan to france in june.alright dont laugh.any ideas anyone? no mechanic myself,would have to pay.

For towing the best thing to do is get a V6 - I have towed with both 2.0 and V6 and V6s make it so much easier

You shouldn't need to but it does help. Plenty of low down torque in standard form so ideal for towing.
