Title: anyone ever owned a mg ztt?
Post by: doog on 25 July 2010, 01:56:54
As per topic i am looking at these cars
I quite like the look of them  my astra estate is bursting at the seams and a larger car would be great

has anyone on here have any opinions on them?
looking at one like this

So was I until I found out £1000 or thereabouts for the cam belt change on V6 :o  Nice Red Manual in Stockton if you are interested 1.8 Turbo with head Gasket upgrade and new turbo... :)

Edit, it's a saloon. The estate is smaller that a Mig estate.... :)

A nice enough looking wagon :y  I would assume that parts can be had for them readily enough?

Congratulations on the extra star by the way. 8-) :y :y

RWD V8's the only one i'd want.............but the high spec ones have nice interiors - i looked at a few before buying the last mig - nice looking but smallish and expensive - definitely one of the best looking estates tho  :y

This is the ZT I had, 190+, very nice. I paid £780 for cambelts (3) and they EAT tyres at £170 a go ;D
The panels are like hens teeth now, so don't prang it.

They have 3 young one :y

If that's had the cambelts done and you keep an eye on the coolant and keep it fresh then, they're lovely cars :y

I really like them. As stated very nice cabin if a little small. Certainly the rear wouldn't be a nice place for an adult on a long journey.

Almost bought one from a local auction before I got the Mig. 51 plate 2.5 full history etc went in the end for slightly under £800. Was a little top end tappy though so that's most likely why, and to be honest, glad I didn't get it with some of the prices quoted above :o
