				Car names that didn't translate well in other.... Countries, and had to be renamed !  ::).
 
 Here's one to start it off, unless no-one else adds to it  ::)  ;D .
 
 Vauxhall Nova = In mexico, roughly translated to "Won't go".  Excellent start to a new car model at the time  ::)
- 
				Mazda MR2 - They are named something else in France as if you say M R du (as they do in France) it sounds the same as Merde which is French for Sh1t ;D

				lol Shogun means something unprintable in spanish, !!
 ! they cant believe people drive round in a car with this name!!! they only got the pajero or the hyundai copy

 seeing so many of a similar vien, one can only asume some of those responsible for "creating" interesting car names were having a laugh! :D

				it is indeed, shogun is  Mitsubishi Montero in spain

				Opel Ascona - may be an urban myth, but I heard ascona is slang in parts of Portugal and Spain for see you next tuesday  if you get my meaning  :y

				Ford Pinto, in portugese it meant small prick  ;D
 Ford Kuga, in my language it means plague
- 
				Hillman Avenger drivers were to be avoided in the 70's, they took their car name literally and got very nasty if you cut them up or overtook them   ;)
