Not sure about the forum but I saw one on the bay of fleas recently with 320,000 on the clock. Must have had plenty of regular oil changes. ;)

Mine is a baby then only done 139k (well its done more because the ecu was playing up for about 6 months) :y

Not mine,but i new a taxi driver who ran a 2.2dti
When his speedo turned from 399,999 to what would have been 400,000 the full instrument binacle packed up... everything went, all gauges, speedo and rev counter all went to off position.
He replaced the unit from a breakers yard and away it went again, he then ran the car for a further 6 months and then replaced it with a Signum
He had replaced the turbo unit, alternator and a starter motor but the main engine itself was untouched,he maintained that because he did an oil change every 3 months and gave it a full service every 6 months that was the only reason he got so much from it. He obviously replaced usual things like exhausts tyres clutch etc
Now if it had 400k on it plus another 6 months running, how many miles did it have on it in the end? :o What does a taxi driver do in 6 months? bearing in mind this was about 4/5 years ago
One thing i remember about it was every button on the climate control panel was totally white! ;D

The Beastie has covered 118,000 scooby chasing miles, the replacement engine (still pulled like a train but foo barred oil pump) came from an auto Elite with a fully stamped book but knackered body & about 9 or 10k less. New cambelt kit & waterpump when fitted. Oil & filter every 3k should do another 118,000 'til i can afford a Monaro!!!! 8-) 8-) 8-) ;)
