May I suggest;
A humourous story about the groom (as long as its only a bit rude)
Thanks to all bridesmaids, and a comment on how good they looked
What a lucky man he is to get the bride, as she was well admired
Thanks for the honour of being the best man
read all the cards sent
smile a lot
toast the bride and groom
let slip something about the stag night.....eg so drunk he had his underpants on his head, etc.
Thank the respective mums and dads.
Just a start, done it a few times......

cheers for the help! :y

Best of Luck!!
(oh, and BTW.........it is fiction that the Best Man gets his pick of all the available Bridesmaids, at my most recent wedding, the COLLECTIVE age of all the bridesmaids didn't reach 30.........................!!)

break you've left it a bit late :o I had to make a speech as father of the bride a couple of months ago and found a lot of sites on the net that helped alot with the planning of the speech but don't just pick one and use it ver batum your speech should be unique to the groom.

Be a tad carefull with the "jokes" .. what is hilarious to you/your mates is not always funny to the Brides Great Aunt ..... likewise stories about the Grooms previous life may well be best left there ... in his previous life ... his new relatives (including his wife) may not wish to know of earlier conquests .....
It's a minefield ... so tread carefully :)
