Looks probable like the OOF Pony Express will be riding again from Edinburgh to Nottingham and back to Edinburgh over Wednesday/Thursday of next week.
90 hardtop southwards and RR Sport northwards. Should cope with the larger bits, if required. :y

A LR 90 is pure luxury, try living with a 'Series' LR for basic comfort etc, you got to love em though..... :y :y :y

You could entertain yourself by playing "how many cats' eyes can i pass without making a corrective input to the steering". I believe the world record in a 90 is .. about 3. ;D

Basic Landy is, ehhh, basic.
Solid suspension.
no radio.
Windy windows.
Windy diff noise over 50 or so.
Handling of a pregnant sow on a greasy slope at speed.
You get the gist..... ;)

Flat cap and tweeds then now, eh! Broocie?
...and don't forget the green wellies ;)
-
Had a few of those "series" LR's......
You gotta love 'em, even when the "heater" (and I use the word VERY loosely.........) is on full in a cold-ish day.
May as well connect up your arse to a tube, fart, and light the methane.........you'll get more heat!!

Ok. Never known them as "LR's" So the rest was beyond cryptic, abject even, & why from Edinburgh as appose to your homestead? Why Landie down & Rangie back?
Silly thing is i know my landies pretty well. I had a s3 88inch diesel that i loved so much i galv chassied it along with parabolic springs, gas shocks, big wheels the whole bit. 0-60 if you were lucky but spent many an off road event pulling Discos/Jap4x4s out of trouble. A few of us had Landies then & many would go for the biggest inclines/descents whereas i'd find the biggest muckiest bog & attack it with glee. "Ronnie" as he was known was a cracking mud plugger & loved being up to his nuts in guts & would happily drive through lakes with the water up to my knees. No snorkel or prepping.....Always fancied a V8 converted 12v lightwieght!!!! :y
