I took two weeks off work to sort out loads of outdoor type things (including the omega). Nearly every day it rained non stop.
I go back to work today - and the sun is shining!
Who has it in for me?
As I have no car working, I went out on the bike - it rained. I went to mow the grass - it rained. I went to wash the windows on the house - it rained. I got up out of bed and it was raining!
Stayed in bed! :o

Just having the same conversation at work...
glorious summers day here!

I was on Chichester harbour yesterday in Pen-gooin, launched at High Water when most were leaving. Caught a couple of small mackerel for dinner but continued as long as I could until the light went. As the sun started going down all but 4 boats were left out on the water, no wind, glassy water, beautiful sunset and most of the water to myself. Bliss 8-)
I got a little carried away so I had to crank up the seagul 40 to get in before the light went though, cue Hawaii 5-0 tune :D

I was a bit more fortunate, booked this week off and went out camping with the kids yesterday and spent the day on the beach. Bloody freezing in the night though :o

That's why this Country is so Great, there is something to satisfy/p*ss off everyone, nobody is ever disappointed all the time! ;D ;)

C'mon guys it could be worse.
We've had two months of heat and sun without a single drop of rain here, and the fu...g company doesn't want to give a day of work to anyone >:(
Every single Britt who came here even for a couple of days has a better suntan than me ;D

I'll have to do swaps with someone next August. Been nothing but sun, total blue skies and heat here. I long for some cloud and a bit of rain!!

I think you have something there. The Victorians realised the weather was carp so got on with inventing, building and making Britain Great. Meanwhile south European countries were still quite happy with their sun, sangria and donkeys.
