Guys,my 13 year old sister got an Acer Aspire laptop for her Christmas, now i set it all up out the box etc and set up the administrator password.
Now to prevent her sister using the laptop she changed the admin password and..... low and behold... doesn't know what it is now!
She has set up a user account for our Mum,which i suppose is good in the fact that she can still use it,sort of, but it has now come to the time of updates which won't allow to be done unless its a 'Admin account'
Is there anyway i can recover the admin password?
i'm fairly competent with computers but not had to try fix this before,
anyone got a solution?
TIA
[edit] Forgot to mention its running Windows 7 :y
