One for the PC tekkies..... FMI, but how do i post on OOF, a 'folder' from 'my documents' on my pc?? Basically, i've put pic files into a folder in my documents. So how do i get it on here so you just have to click on it to open it?? (does that all make sense?? :-/) TIA :y :y :y

You can't post pics like that. You have to upload the pics to an online service like Photobucket and then link the images from there.

You'll have to host the pictures on a site such as Photobucket or Flickr. These sites will then give you a link. You can add the link(s) to a post on the Forum and the images will show when the thread is opened.
You'll have to add IMG tags front and end of the link. The Image Tags are [ IMG ] front and [ /IMG ] back (include the brackets, but omit the spaces).

No, you can only upload files, not a directory. That said, you can select more than one file at a time for upload.
Maria, have you copied all that, or is there anything unclear?

Quick tutorial:
If you DON'T Have a Photobucket accout:
Go to http://www.photobucket.com
On the right at the top, you’ll see “Need a Photobucket account? Sign up!”
Click to sign up and insert a user name and password
If you have an account, or you've just created one:
Log in and it will take you straight to a page where there’s a big green button “Upload Images and Videos” Click it and you’ll then see the directory tree of your own computer. Locate the file(s) you want to upload. You can hold done the Ctrl button to select more than one file. The file(s) will upload and then you will get the option to "Save". If you’re happy, click Save and then you’ll be directed to your album.
Select a pic you want on OOF, swipe the IMG Code beneath the pic, then right-click mouse and select “Copy”.
Go to OOF and create your message. Hit the Insert Image button and paste the code. You may get double [I M G] tags at either end of the pasted code. You only need one pair, so delete one of the starter tags and one of the end tags [/I M G]. (I have put spaces in between the IMG letters as otherwise this post will not be read correctly, it'll think I'm trying post a pic!!).
Hit preview and you will see the image. If you're happy, you can then post!

Right folks...hopefully here's how....
Register with Photobucket then sign in..
Upload your pics to Photobucket by browsing to the folder they are in on your computer....
Save uploaded pics to your album.
Click on pic you want to put on this forum. Under your pic will be a little box....tick it.....
Then scroll to bottom of the page and click on...Generate a HTML code......
Then scroll to the box that shows the image code for your pic, I think its the third or fourth down.....
Copy it, including the [IMG] pieces at the beginning and end.....
Then paste it onto this forum....you will then have a full size pic. :y
You can use another of the options you will see in the generated list..Thumbnails..you copy and paste as before, but the pic on the forum will be small and the viewers will have to click on it to see it full size.. :y :y

thanks guys ............ i am still messin with P/bucket .... i know how to do the pics :y its uploading a whole FOLDER (containing files) onto Photobucket (PB) ::) ::)
