Title: WooHoo I've got myself a Omega

I got myself a new car, I haven't got any pics yet as I dont pick it up till the weekend.
Anyway its a R-reg Omega 2ltr saloon, its in met blue. It has e/w, e/s/r, c/l the usual really. It also come with full leather interior with electric and heated front seats.

I'm well chuffed I've managed to find one. Cant wait to pick it up.

Mileage is 115,000

It has service history up to 80,000, but then I mechanic for vauxhall bought it has has maintained it himself

Nice one NML only 5K off a cambelt and tensioner change might be worth a check that it was done at 80K just in case failure causes the lump to go into self destruct mode :o

I'd do it straight away anyway for peace of mind.  Not a big job on the 2L.

..and congrats on the new motor!  2l 's a decent engine - don't let anyone tell you otherwise - and a darn site easier to work on than the V6.

Agreed, I have the same engine in my Cavalier.  Lots of people moan about the Ecotec 2.0 and I don't know why.

Enjoy your new car - it sounds nice.  What level spec is it? i.e. CD CDX etc.

I've got no need to worry about the cambelt etc cause it was on at 113,000
And it has just been serviced and had a new water pump fitted
