my mate bought it, wont tell me how much he paid but theres loads of rust on the drivers door.but spotless inside

Carlton was Omega in euroland, common place there, it could be an import, or someone decided to put Opel stickers on it

Pre '93: Opel Omega 'A' = Vauxhall Carlton.

Post '94: Opel Omega 'B' = Vauxhall Omega.

Some mistakenly refer to the 'Facelift' Omega as the Omega 'C'.  There is no 'C' model.
