Title: Met a showbiz personality .........
Post by: Seth on 20 September 2010, 12:43:20: .... whilst working Cardiff Bay shuttles with our 'heritage' Class 121 'Bubble Car' on Saturday evening.
Actor Simon Callow was a passenger.

An absolute gentleman indeed. :y

It was not a criticism or intended to be derogatory, merely additional information that some may not have been aware of, qualifying the man's character. He is a very fine actor BTW

Post by: jereboam on 21 September 2010, 12:15:38: Simon Callow has had a major problem for many years: ever since he appeared in Four Weddings and a Funeral, many people believe that he is dead. It was his character that died, giving rise to the eponymous Funeral.

This has been made a bit worse by the fact that the actor with the similar name in the holiday camp sitcom Hi-de-Hi, Simon Cadell, did actually die a couple of years after the film came out.

definatly. i never knew that and if i ever use a public toilet and he's in there i now know not to stand next to him in case he reaches over to touch my knob.

I find that comment gratuitously offensive to someone unable to defend themselves. Whatever personal issues you may have regarding homosexuals I suggest that you keep them to youself, and do not air them on what is an otherwise excellent forum.

Folks, point has been made and complaint raised. Please refrain. ::) :y
