Sun was out, and since i was back home for the weekend decided to take the bike for a blast in the Cotswold's, I made the excuse i wanted to test my JetBoil in anger. Turned out to be a stunning day, some of the autumn colours are really nice at the moment. I also prefer cold weather on the bike, don't get so hot.
Stopped off for some supplies just before broadway...

Sadly it just turned really misty, and could not see much of the view...

Just after that it cleared and it was all sunny! Typical!
Caught up to a chap on a sports bike on the county roads, think he had been behind the queue of cars for some time he kept slowing down then giving it a blast of throttle, bike was loud though, offensively loud!
What i found odd, was over-takes i would have done, he hung back, and did one where i would not, going up to the brow of a hill :o
He really struggled on the bouncy un-even road, he opened it up on the smoother sections, but it was not a very nice sight to see the back of this guy's body bouncing about on the rough stuff. Silly bugger had just jeans on too! He could not see around the cars, now i ride slow, but he was holding me up! So next section that was clear i passed him and a bunch of cars in one go.
Big fat boxer tourer one - sports bike nill ;D
Hummm could i squeeze a bike camping trip in before the end of the year :-/

Couple of times i did think about stopping to take photos, but I was having too much fun!
I might have loads more photos in a couple of weeks, depends on the weather....and my wallet!

Gorgeous weather down here, too - it would have been the perfect day to take the MR2 out with the roof down (after clearing the leaves, branches & spiders off it!) .. if it wasn't boxed in by bits of old boiler, an immersion tank and numerous bits of copper pipe :'(
So instead I slept half the day and then achieved bugger all in the afternoon ;D

I thought it was quite chilly when I went out earlier, so donned a sweatshirt and coat. I'm still drying out!

Saw you were on the A46 Cheltenham Stratford Road (the one via Winchcombe & Broadway) how far did you go?
I know the Broadway to Cheltenham section very well.
Local preserved railway there!

Wnet to Malvern this afternoon - very pleasant after dropping the caravan off in storage

Can't remember the whole route, did about 150 miles all in. Brackley > Stratford > Broadway > Burford > Chipping Norton > Stow > Stratford > Brackley
Went across a few railway lines, one at Kingham. I did think about maybe a local railway being a Sunday, but did't know any!

Stratford Broadway is a nice route, but if you carry on down to TOddington the route East is nice

Great scenes from a lovely part of the country. 8-) :y :-* :-*
On the other hand Autumn has well and truely settled here so I've spent a fair portion of the day (many to come) sucking the first fall of spent leaves from the various trees in the garden.
