Title: Ebay Question
Post by: Proz on 13 October 2010, 20:44:38
I have just been browsing Ebay for Irmscher stuff and stumbled across a picture of my car .
Someone selling an item listed as " Irmscher Omega Grill " and a picture of my car .
Now it is the same as a picture i posted on here when i put the new grill on .
Should this be allowed because mine isnt an "Original"
Should i contact Ebay and advise them of this ? ... i dont know if im happy with someone using a picture of my car to sell there stuff  >:(
If it so happens its someone on here and used a pic then fair enough but if its anyone else then i dont think i like the thought of this  :-/

I had a german guy trying to sell dodgy bodykits and spoilers with a pic of my car on his ebay page, I promptly asked him to remove it as it had my no. plate on it, he did so with appologies.

 ;)

I have mailed the seller to point out he is using a picture of my car and grill .... luckly where ever they have gotten the picture i had obscured the number plate .
It must have been on here or photobucket .
I can only think they have ccopied it from here because no one should know my photo bucket password etc .
The seller doesnt live very far from me either .

I use Photobucket and I guess that anything I choose to upload to them becomes their 'property'?

Do you 'tag' your photo's when you upload to PhotoBucket?  Call them names like 'Omega 1'????

If so, they will be easy to find, regardless of account security.  :y
