The only issue is i never received them and im now £100 out of pocket. It now seems that he has blocked on on facebook and i can no longer talk to him about me getting my money back. if anyone can help me out i would be most greatful
-
Send a PM to Hotel21 as he is the admin that deals with these kind of things :y
£100 is considerable amount to be out of pocket. :(
Also not very nice to hear he has deleted you on facebook, looks like he is trying to get away with it >:(
-
he doesnt seem to appear on my facebook list now either :-?
-
considering this was over 2 months ago now, the courier had "lost" the parcel and he didnt insure it so he probs couldnt get it back so is trying to avoid it. Sad really that some people can be such "pikeys" (i dont mean to cause offence by the way)

There is no reason he should be getting out of it, he should be able to claim at least some of the amount back from the courier. But any decent person would refund the money and take issue up with the courier, as some members have done so when posting parts.
What was the courier company, do you know?
As mentioned open a dispute case with H21 :y
-
Didn't he loan an engine hoist of someone on here recently, they might have his address ;)

Pm sent!

the courier is Hermes Europe , as for his address, he marked himself on the forum map so he cant be far from it
-
Ha I do alot of work for them!!in fact I'm employed bt them!the chances of them
Loosing are minimal as person to person parcels only came in two months ago so they are being very carefull.they do insure parcels for up to £150 and all parcels are traced by the company,if you can get the number and call hermes they will sort it out!hope the number helps mate.

Not just you mate, appears to be all OOF's as listed above. Maybe now he does not have an Omega he's cut all contact.

seeing as so many of you have been "deleted" i thought it only fair to suggest that he may have suspended/deleted his fb account, this will remove his name from EVERYONE he had as a contact until he reactivates it.
I know this because I recently deactivated an old account of mine, and had messages from ppl asking why I had deleted them, when I clearly hadnt.
cheers ;)

Well as far as i can see it he has 3 ways to fix this problem, i get the headlights - problem solved we both move on... i get my money back - problem solved we both move on... or i take a little drive up there and we discuss this in person. I dont like being taken for a mug, and at the end of it i will either get my money back or i get the headlights... kthnxbai ;D

so your either gonna get your money back, get your lights or knock his lights out if all else fails? ;D
not that I approve of violence.. :-X

now now, i didnt say i was going to "knock his lights out" but ive been told i can be very intimidating at times (being 6 foot 9 in height and fairly well built i can understand why people would say or or feel threatened by me) im a big cuddly bear really :P :D ;D

Hermes are absolutely usless... i have just phoned them and they hav told me i need to get the 12 digit collection number from nick.... now, being as he is making this very difficult for me and i dont want to call his number until its a last resort im struggling with ideas now. the guy i spoke to at hermes cant do anything with the 16 digit TRACKING number is he cant TRACK where the parcel is with it :S >_< >:( >:( >:(
-
what if you give Nicks address with a rough time when it was posted?
-

I would have thought it would not be an unreasonable request to ask for the tracking number from the seller given that he claims the courier have lost the package. Presumably the number would have been required for him to establish this.
I would repeat the suggestion that you approach the admin team if you are struggling to contact the seller. We may be able to help get buyer and seller in contact, although there's little else we can do.
Either way, this type of "dirty laundry" is probably best kept off the open areas of the forum. :y

I was deleted by nick also, or so it seemed when I had a message from him to reinstate us as friends, it was then deleted again.
I personally dont think nick has deleted anyone, as he added a message to me saying his Face book account was acting up and people were disapearing from his friends list.
Give him a further chance, in the mean time I will PM him this thread, and hopefully an explanation wull be forwarded. :y

Personal message to Nick has been sent :y

Just catching up on this after a long day...
Glad to see you back online and hopefully you will be able to sort this out between yourselves, via PM, facebook, bebo, twitter, e-mail, telephone, carrier pigeon or whatever. ;)
I see earlier in the thread that Xplicit was also chasing the couriers up but was being held up by lack of serial/tracking/whatever number. Could I suggest that you also supply this to him, in order that you both can heckle the courier and therefore, perhaps, bring it to a suitable conclusion sooner?
May save you some grief, two pronged attack and all that.... ;)

Nick - I also see your last PM was 16. Sep 2010 at 07:48. Now might be a good time to remake contact? Thanks for your assistance.... :y

I'm glad Nick has got in touch here. He was on my f/b. Did'nt see or hear from him for a while then got a friend request which i accepted thinking we were f/b friends already so it does seem there was a problem with his f/b acc.
Hope this get's resolved. I'm a big lad & never turned my back on a scuffle but 6ft 9 & built with it? Stuff that for a game of soldiers. I'm not going toe to toe with that, swift kick in the family jewels or a kidney blow.....then RUN!!!!!! :o
-
People can try and use there size. Thats one thing that does not bother me. And mr ice man giving my address by pm... Just plain wrong. If he wants my address he has only gotta ask and ill give it him...
-
Hello nick I knOw some things were said but it's only out of frustration on behalf of the buyer. Don't worry about it mate as long as you sort it out for the man who is £100 out of pocket.
-
Nick, yes my comments have been out of frustration. the "pikey" comment, well, what would you expect me to say? u remove everyone from OOF on facebook (or so it would seem) and after nearly 3 months of waiting for either the goods or the money back, u can see why i said it. As for the driving to your address, again all out of frustration.
What has annoyed me more is the fact that on facebook you were constantly mentioning work done and money spent on your voyager. i dont no if its just me, but in any sale, customer fault or not, the customer is always right (thats just how things go)
If it was me who sent u the headlights and u had told me about this, i would have paid u back the £100 (after confirming with the courier it was missing) then carried on with pestering them. things like this are between the seller/sender and the courier and would be dispute between said parties only. the customer shouldnt have to wait 3 months and then the only form of contact disappear as well as chase the courier themselves. As for not insuring the parcel, well thats also not the buyers fault and saying they wont get their money back until the seller gets his money back from the courier is a very poor excuse.
Yes u may now say but its only £100.... sorry but in the day n age we are in at the moment, £100 is a fair amount from anyones pocket.
-
From a personal opinion I would have refunded the money.
I also wouldn't be giving anyones address or phone numbers away when I have them.
In frustration we can say things in the heat of the moment, I did think about deleting the Post with the travelling up and taking the money part mainly as i don't think it is what the forum is about.
Nick if you can refund the money, people will buy parts from you as that to me is the way plus you will keep your clean reputation.
Hope this gets sorted quickly :y
-
May I suggest that this thread is locked and that Nick and Xplicit deal with this through PM? Dirty laundry and all that, plus this is really between them only :y
-
i want to appoligise.... i didnt not mean for it to sound that "i will come up there, kick your ass and take my money back". Thats not what i meant at all. i have found things are better dealt with in person, regardless of the situation. like i said had the economy not gone t**s up, and like im sure is with most people, my finances wern't up and day on a daily, i probably wouldnt be all that bothered...
Again, im sorry if what i said in previous posts was in a threatening manner
-
Locking, as buyer and seller should now be able to sort this out. :y
