ElitePete! came to me today and replaced cambelt and waterpump, did oil and filter change and changed my coolant and what a job he did! feel so much better its done now! Saved me a fortune over dealer prices and standard of work is brilliant! Pete ill be over in a few weeks for my new discs and pads so get the kettle on ready :y cheers again!

Well to add my thanks... to Dan for meeting me with his old cam belt kit and to Pete for boxing it back up for me. I'd have used one of the old ones I had here but I was made to tidy the garage ;D ;D

I can fit this on the MV6 tomorrow so I can see if I get any resistance turning it over by hand following the top belt follower bolt failing. This caused the tension to drop off and the crank to strip 10 or 11 teeth off the original belt. I'm 99% certain now it has taken valves but wanted to check properly.

Belt was fine, more than can be set for the valves it's moving :(
