Title: What are these ?

Ive seen them all over the place   little orange signs with shapes and arrows in them but i have no clue what they mean

Any ideas?

Diversion /route signs, usually LGV... at some point there will be a starting diversion/route with a single symbol ... you follow that symbol to follow the diversion/route

They're diversion signs.The square or circle designate the route to follow after the initial diversion.
