Title: Insurance renewal time.....
Post by: Debs. on 15 October 2010, 11:52:38
......and Aviva have offered to renew the policy on the Miggy: £949.41  (that`s over a 300% annual increase) :o

That`s on a clean licence (since 1980), no accidents in past 7 years with Aviva and 65% NCD.

The 'Micheal' has been duly taken! >:(

Phoned about a bit and visited the Opera-singer and the Meerkat: all at or near the £600. (ish) mark......what`s going on? :-/

So, I went down to the local NFU Mutual office, with it`s nice friendly (real) person to speak to: £274. fully-comp., incl. AA recovery, protected NCD, european insurance/recovery and a courtesy car.

I can highly recommend NFU insurance....."A result!" :y

I think these big companies get 'way-too comfortable' after a few years continuous custom and "try it on"......Aviva certainly have! >:(

According to Radio 2, they've all jacked their prices up because of personal injury claims causing them to realise that for every £100 they take, they pay out £120. So they've 'all' upped their prices.. (clearly not really all of them, as you've found someone cheaper!)

Or some such rubbish..
