Title: 'Pain' Tax
Post by: Seth on 02 December 2010, 11:25:19
Just got back from the Dentist with a bitter taste in me mouth .........

Top right molar removed - 39 friggin' quid all-in!
Still, it came out sweet as a nut - and pain now thankfully gone.

Not happy about paying NI contributions AND additional fee  >:(

Indeed, it is when the NHS Byron is not free at the point of service!!  It really is not good enough.

Thank goodness for the keyboard say I .......  :y

Whilst the right side of my face is feeling decidedly numb, the anaesthetic's wearing off, and my gum's damn sore now.
 :D
Still, there's no long-term gain without short-term pain, as is often quoted, eh?  ;)

£39 ?????? your lucky, I had to pay £325 quid for an extraction for Mrs Albs earlier this year. Wouldnt have minded so much if it had kept her quiet for a week, but it didnt. ::) :D ;D
