I spoke to my mum earlier today & she said my aunti  M in Long Island (NY) was having the same.
She had just managed to stock up on the essentials before it hit.

Bloody hell. that is a snow storm, not like we get here and everything grinds to a halt........ but it also proves the yanks are thick as I wouuldnt keep going out to move the clock every now and then  :)
