Title: Camera / Hard Disk Combo

What's your thoughts on this? Some will know I got a small camera with I tired on the bike, but it had limited power and not easy to see results on the go. Thinking of treating myself to the above, as in 2011 I am going to do quite a few bike trips.

SD card for extra store sounds good.

My other option is to get an old tape based video camcorder which has the ability to take another lens feed. Can anyone reccommend cheap second hand camera with aux video in?

That link above is tempting for the price though

May just have what you're looking for here Mark.
It's surplus to requirements.
Will have a word with Mrs Sethsmate and come back to you ASAP.

Tape or disc on a bike = risky.

You will need to mount recorder in luggage probably with anti-vibration mounts.

Rumour has it you don't go round corners fast so gyro effects will be minimal. ;D ;D ;D

Cheeky bugger  :P :P  ::)

Had not really considered tape vibration, just waiting for January bills to settle, then hoping to buy link above on eBay, it looks perfect for my needs really.

Another added bonus is that it will already be in .avi format, tape based media I would have to capture the video

I'll be interested to learn of your experiences T as I quite fancy one of these myself. :y

Not necessarily for the following reasons however;

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions:

Can I use this in my bedroom to record some extreme indoor sports?

Yes you may. You will need to leave the lights in the bedroom since this camera does not have an IR function.

Can I use this to shoot my casting couch videos?

Yes, we think the unit is a perfect tool for capture those under-table actions( research casting couch if you don't know what it is or see the product photo).
