I know that most of you on here are not into classical music, but for the one other person that is...
If I wrote a piece of music even one-hundredth as good as this it would be a lifetime achievement.
However, the person that wrote this actually went on to discover the planet Uranus. He also discovered infrared radiation in sunlight and was the first to work worked out that the Milky Way was shaped like a disk....etc, etc. Some people really deserve a place in history.
His name? Sir William Herschel.
This piece is rarely heard but, to me it is very fine indeed.
If you like classical music, sit back and enjoy the next 4 minutes and 39 seconds. :y

Wonderful! 8-)

That was very enjoyable - for something written nearly 250 years ago it sounded purposeful, dynamic and quite up to date.
Well found Nick. :y
