summer of 1969, US Army engineers diverted the flow of Niagara falls to have a look as they were thinking about removing all the boulders at the bottom, in the end they decided to leave it alone and turned the taps back on - great pics tho  :y

Not wanting to sound like the wee laddie in the corner in the huff (but no doubt I will...) - it was a genuine guess.

Did not resort to the underhand tactics as suggested by Pete the Knowledgeable ....     :P
