its only a trial at the moment, those that have HD package will have normal numbers and EPG settings have HD channel as default.

As its only a trial, its due to be switched back

I wish they would add a button to put the flipping channels in alphbatical order, firking night mare finding a channel that advertises something or a +1 channel at times.

Making HD buttons the main use is not important to be as I tend to record in SD to save disk space,  Hust dumped 47% of the hard drive in unwatched CSI, Criminal minds trype programs.  Would hate to thing how big a hard drive I would have needed for that lut in HD plus the films I recorded in HD, all ready back to 15% free.

Still got the small one in.

been thing of fitting a 1TB but after tinnie mentioned the size  % for the soft ware being about 40%ish of the drive regardless of size it put me off.

But would consider fitting a 2 TB now cost has dropped.

there are a few 5tb one out, but mosty down to the setting for the HD box it self, you can adjust them in the box setting to make more space, but if you can get usb softwear to work can put external hard drive or mem stick in, there are a few site that have the softwear but you need to check that the usb has power to it or the drivers do nothing.

You certainly do, even if you put a bigger disc in - I put a 650Gb disc in one HD box as a trial and Anytime laid dibs on 160Gb or so. (even though I have Anytime disabled)

I wouldn't be holding my breath waiting for Sky to enable any of the additional ports on the arse of any of its boxes FC.

you can get it enabled your self depending on what box it is, samsung box is easy to do but thomson ones are tempramental , have to check on power board that there is 3v 3.5v and 5v are working before you can get the usb working, then when the power is working check with mem stick should come up on screen that drive is there, if that works then download drivers from usa site and install them using mem stick. turn off and reset sky box then should have new settings in setting on menu and its done. 5v you can cross over on the power board, but other two need to be working first.

Shhhh  ::)

Actually with Anytime+ pulling data down remotely, the new 1TB boxes are all for + storage. Got one of the new ones on desk nearby, you can store shed ton of HD material, we had loads of films on it, complete series, only taking up 15%  :o
