I`ve got 3 beeps and then a flashing red light on my ps3 any ideas guys??? :-? :-?

How old is it?

Fat or slim?

Can be anything from dust to needing reflowing.

Reflowing costs about £60 and lasts for a few months.

its the 60gb and it was repaired for ylod last year......

have you turned it off at the plug and checked the joypad's switched off, then turn on at the plug and see if it'll run normally by switching on at the joypad?

there aren't many 60gb ones left now, they were discontinued way back when so many of them went faulty, including mine thankfully just before the warranty ran out and it was replaced with an 80gb one

Get it repaired, transfer data to a new Slim PS3 then sell it on Ebay

think the 3 beeps is rom drive loader, dose it take disc's in or dose it just chuck it back out.

Took it to the local pc repair shop for them to look at it and see if they can repair it.... if they can then its £80 for a repair.....Bloody kid has me wrapped round his little finger.... ::) ::) ::) :-*
