to keep all my receipts and invoices in an orderly, logical and neat fashion and will ditch the previous "stuff them in random drawers/pockets/glove boxes/carrier bags and sort later strategy ie days before the Tax return is due" i appear to favour :( :(

Yes, so you should. I know where all my receipts are. In the filing system known as "drawer from hell". ;D
I dread the day I'm going to have to find anything therein. ;D Until I tidied up my study it was tricky locating said drawer let alone opening it.
