OK, decided my car is a "keeper", seeing I can't find much better unless I spend lots more dosh..................
Thanks to Brikhead I've got a good starting point, and have purchased the appropriate pipework, and clips and fittings.
Will take my time (and take piccies!!) MIGHT have it ready by the summer. Have to paint a few bits, but as the engine is now 100% and the interior is pretty well 100%, looking to have a good uptogether car soon...........
Miight have to ask a bit of advice, and maybe some help at some time, but will try not to ask too much.
Gotta clear out the garage now........................... :y

You won't regret it ... and if I can suggest it ... get a "Countrywide" account ... cheaper than most commercial outlets other than ASDA/Morrisons .. oh how I wish they would open in Swindon .. :(
KW is the guy to talk to about drilling your inlet fanimold.. easily does the best job in town .. :)

Excellent!.....is this going to be a photographic 'how-to'? :y

Inlet manifold already apparently drilled........came out of an omega previously, "just" a case of remove and refit.........(yeah, right.)
Yep, Debs, will be a "step-by-step" guide if I can do it, but won't be posted until its finished and running, then will be a complete article from start to finish, I hope.......
Gotta do it "right" because of insurance, etc. but mainly satisfaction for myself and my Dad, and Dad is a retired Master Engineer, and only does things "just so" and absolutely correct, or not at all.
Have to please him as well as do it for me, and thats hard on a good day...............

As in RAF Master Engineer ???
:)

Nope.....
as in the "old skool" rating,
Apprentice
Improver
Mate
Indentured
Master
They call them "mentors" now, but in my Dads day, they were called "Master" Engineers because they had more than 30yrs qualified experience, and taught other engineers AFTER they were indentured.
Dad was in the fabrication and maintenance shops from age 15 until he retired a few years ago. (he's 73 now, and they wouldn't let him retire at 65 because he had so much experience!!)

What make of kit is it? Have you got the software, lead and dongle (if required) to set it up and tune it?
Any questions, feel free to ask :y I'll see of I can find my COP 11 document if you like?
