If this story doesn't bring a lump to your throat and a tear to your eye.... well, you're probably not human. This lad was obviously more of a man than his age would indicate.

I'm not ashamed to say that I stood and wept when I heard his father speaking on this morning's news - what must he be going through?

A brave and selfless act by this young man - Jordan Rice - which somehow encourages one to believe that all is not lost with humanity.

"The fire in my heart will continue to burn until my time comes to join them. But, until then, all I can do is thank you both, and tell anyone who listens just how much I love you both, and how special you are."

What fine words spoken by a man in obvious grief.

It was heart rending to watch. :'(
