Very busy period for the international players. 4 more ODIs after today, then the World Cup, IPL at some point too. Then county cricket and summer series back at home.

They appear to have stopped about two weeks ago.

cricketers are good value for money. very entertaining game, good sportsmanship and they dont roll around the floor for half hr when they get hurt. unlike the bunch of nancyboys that play football who think they are gods gift to women, get paid silly money for kicking a ball about. and have no respecr for anyone but themselves

I have to say I don't find the test matches very interesting - far too drawn out - I'm sure that'll change when I retire and have enough time on my hands to sit and watch them for 5 days at a time but in the meantime at least with the ODI's there's a bit more urgency. As far as I can see you can usually squash all of the days action from a test match into about 30 minutes.

Now I've got to be honest test matches are far more up my street. I don't have the time to sit there and watch 5 days of cricket but at work with it on the radio on it's great. I tried to describe it to someone not long ago and the best analogy I came up with is a test match is like a book. The storey unfolds over a period of time normal with one or two unexpected twists along the way.

as with any sport theres enormous skill involved. its just not that exciting to watch.

I'd prefer to watch grass growing than cricket, any day ::)

Can't honestly remember if I ever tried clouting a ball with a lump of wood in my childhood but if I had, I don't think the fascination would have dragged on this ruddy long.
.. and as for kicking inflated bladders around. ::)
