Apologies if posted before but....

Cheeky sods.

Mine was the best car I've ever bought (not withstanding the new one, which it's too early to tell).

I needed a tow car and test drove a Rover P5 that had a BMC diesel engine conversion. Didn't buy it as it :-
stank of diesel
had no brake servo fitted
had two batteries in the boot and the bloke still had to jump start it.

Settled on a Wolsey 16/60 instead! ;D ;D

I walked away from a FIAT Uno once.  It just felt dangerously unsafe to drive.  I had the same sensation with a Beetle too, but that thing really was an utter nail.

An "an unsatisfactory drive", apparently. Whatever that is. ::)

Sounds like the journo doesn't know his @rse from his elbow, TBH. Just employed to generate search-engine-fodder.

With reference to the thread title I only discovered, when it was too late, the  Renault 18 (bought for my wife) - was a poorly made, underwhelming car that I wish I'd never clapped eyes on never mind bought. [smiley=thumbdown.gif] [smiley=thumbdown.gif]
